The “EntreAction: An Innovative Case to Video-Story Approach in Entrepreneurship Education” themed Erasmus+ Project Summer School was held from July 15 - 26, 2024, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, in Çanakkale, Turkey.

The participants, a diverse group of 24 instructors and academicians and 30 students, were from the University of Veliko Tarnovo St. Cyril and St. Methodius (Bulgaria), Maritime University of Szczecin (Poland), Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Leipzig University (Germany), Aveiro University (Portugal), Science4People institution (Poland), and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey). The event commenced with an opening program on July 15, 2024. The session featured speeches by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Evren Karayel Gökalp and Çanakkale Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Çağman Esirgemez, as guest of honor.

The summer school served as a platform for presenting, discussing, and evaluating entrepreneurship education approaches and ideas developed within the project. The first week was dedicated to immersive entrepreneurship sessions and workshops on creating high-impact videos for entrepreneurship educations. The participants also had the opportunity to visit the Troy Ancient City and Troy Museum, enriching their understanding of Çanakkale's rich history and culture.

In the second week, the five student teams were formed to work on selected student business ideas. The teams included Soundy, Ready Safe Go, Forest4All, Pet-o-gram, and Craft Master Academy. The five teams put in tremendous effort to refine their business pitches and created compelling video presentations. The week culminated in a pitch, where each team presented their business projects to a panel of judges. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the “Ready Safe Go” team, a project led by the SEPT MBA student Jian Carlo Robedillo, for their outstanding presentation and innovative idea for an Emergency Go Bag and Safety Deposit Box, which won the pitch competition.

We also congratulate the commendable participation of the SEPT instructors, Dr. Ana Ribeiro and Jazmin Ponce Gomez, as well as the MBA students: Camilo Pablo Rada Orihuela, Eingnaphat Phansirichod, Kevin Andres Garzon Lopez, and Pamela Tamara Orellana Campos.

The summer school was organized by the project team consisting of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Boz, Prof. Dr. Hülya Önal, Assist. Prof. H. Çağlar Doğru, Assist. Prof. Gökhan Akça, and Assist. Prof. Tarık Yalçınkaya from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, along with university students working on the project.
