Brief description
The module "Sustainability Analysis of the Energy Transition" aims to provide an understanding of how the linking of theory and practice creates a new dynamic in the decision-making process and continues to increase the complexity of decision-making. The seminar intends to train students' analytical skills to enable them to make systematic assessments of sustainability issues in the future. This seminar aims to use tools of sustainability analysis to evaluate the energy transition in the city of Leipzig. The impact of the energy transition is analysed on different levels (e.g. city administration, households, etc.) by applying a combination of methods (e.g. stakeholder analysis, statistical data analysis, empirical research methods).
The module takes place irregularly.
