On October 22, 2024, a special honor took place during the ceremonial opening of the semester at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. Dr. Yolna Grimm, former doctoral student and now post-doctoral guest researcher at the Chair of Business Administration/Marketing at the University of Leipzig, was honored for his dissertation. It is entitled “The Phenomenon of the Entrepreneur in Germany - a Repertory Grid Study” and was supervised by Prof. Löbler (Prof. Marchand was chairman of the doctoral committee).
The award ceremony took place in the presence of distinguished guests. In his speech, Clemens Hoch, Minister of Science of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, emphasized the importance of outstanding academic achievements for the future of Germany as a business location. The President of Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Stoffel, emphasized the interdisciplinary exchange between universities and universities of applied sciences and paid tribute to Dr. Grimm's exceptional academic contribution. Fairtrade pioneer Dieter Overath was also present as a guest of honour and emphasized the social responsibility of science and research in his speech. We warmly congratulate Dr. Grimm on this well-deserved recognition and wish him continued success on his scientific path.
