The ACCESS team of the International SEPT Competence Center is pleased to announce the first research conference, “ Work and economic futures: AFRICA and beyond”, to take place via Zoom on April 23rd.

Within this conference, the issues of graduate unemployment, qualification and employability promotion will be approached in the broader frame of the many different aspects of economic futures and future-making in Africa, and will be addressed from a German perspective too.

Two key note speakers will address relevant topics related to the above mentioned themes, and another round table with major local scholars will be held on the perspectives from Germany regarding  economic futures on a global level. A second round table will be focused on economic futures in Africa, including aspects of land use change and related social-ecological transformations on the continent.

The detailed program as well as the zoom link will follow soon.
