The Vietnamese entrepreneurs met potential clients and partners to expand their business into Germany and the rest of Europe. Both start-ups, Greenjoy and Lagom, had also the chance to meet with officials of the city of Leipzig and other cities within central Germany.
After arriving in Germany, the visitors participated in workshops at the SEPT Competence Center at Leipzig University. These training events were conducted by ISC and industry experts. The ISC team prepared business meetings for the start-ups’ leaders, who explore collaboration opportunities with potential stakeholders. For at least three weeks, they also got to know the local and European innovation ecosystem.
Within the framework of the International Startup Campus (ISC), which is sponsored by Germany’s Federal Government, the SEPT Competence Center supports the start-ups from Vietnam to successfully enter the European market with marketing material translation, strategy coaching, and business mentoring. After returning to Vietnam, the ISC continues to support the start-ups with sustainability strategies as well.
