The event, organized by the three Leipzig start-up initiatives, SMILE - the start-up initiative at Leipzig University, Startbahn 13 - the start-up consultancy of HTWK Leipzig and HHL DIGITAL SPACE, focused on impact investing, the financing of start-up ideas that actively tackle social and ecological challenges.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event offered a platform for exchange and knowledge transfer. Experts from the financing landscape discussed key questions:
- How can you clearly define and measure your own impact?
- What funding and financing options are available to impact start-ups?
- How do you find suitable partners and networks that share your vision?
Valuable insights into the world of impact investing were provided by representatives from SAB, S-Beteiligungen and the Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) as well as experts from BAM! - Business Angels Mitteldeutschland, the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing, Caesar Ventures, futureSAX, Impact Hub Leipzig, Smart Infrastructure Ventures, More than Money Mentors, Senovo Capital Management, SINNkubator Sachsen and the Public Value Hub.
