With this event on 24 of October 2023, we are creating a platform for exchange within the craft-based food industry in the region. Right from the start, the SMILE "Founder Kitchen" is a further milestone to support regional start-ups in the food sector.

Our three-month program offers start-ups the use of a production kitchen, a coworking space and coaching in Leipzig. The „Founder Kitchen“ is a joint project of the SMILE start-up initiative of Leipzig University and Egenberger Lebensmittel GmbH. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics as part of the federal project "Unternehmen Revier".
