Small Enterprise Promotion and Training (Master of Business Administration)
The international Master's degree programme is aimed at people with professional experience who work in developing and emerging countries in the area of small and medium-sized enterprises - for example in state institutions, associations, banks or consulting firms.
The design of the Master's degree programme as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Development combines different approaches to the management and promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises. While classic MBA programmes deal with questions of professional management of companies in different fields, problems and perspectives of economic development have so far mainly been part of administrative science degree programmes.
The degree programme established in Leipzig uniquely combines both aspects and thus offers the target group sound management knowledge as a basis for management positions not only in the private sector, but also and especially in institutions and organisations of economic development.
